I am a field archaeologist with my own archaeology field services and consultancy business. I am educated to masters level, with one undergraduate degree and two post graduate masters degrees. I am currently undertaking doctoral research in an element of the Roman annexation of Britain, AD43-410. I have significant experience of working in industry, and running my own businesses. I have many interests including history, classical music, French literature and literary criticism.
I am a mentor for undergraduate and post graduate students at my university.
I adopt a traditional, structured approach that focuses upon the importance of approaching study and research from an organised perspective. I have excellent interpersonal skills. I also believe that the greatest contribution in tutoring can be made through directed feedback that is both analytical, constructive and positive. I have a wealth of postgraduate experience in academia, as well as extensive management experience of large departments in industry.
