David's Feedback

We were very relieved to find David as it was quite last-minute, being the Easter before my son's A' Levels. He was flexible and responsive, enabling us to fit in lots of economics tutoring sessions in a short space of time. My son found David very approachable and the sessions were relaxed and laid back. His teaching and guidance were very clear and he was good at explaining the technical parts of economics. His help with exam technique was invaluable. Thank you David.

My daughter did not want a tutor, but appalling A Level mock results led to a search for an Economics tutor. We are so pleased we found David, for a year he worked primarily building her confidence in the subject and ensuring she understood not just the real-world application that could bring the subject alive, but what the examiners would be expecting from her and how to approach the exam questions. His positivity in the face of every set back, her nerves and her lack of belief in her own abilities had a tangible effect each week. She achieved her goal of a good result that means she is now studying architecture at her first choice of Uni. We can't express our thanks more sincerely than saying that although this was our daughter's achievement, she couldn't have done it without David's help.

Very helpful so far, really makes me think about my writing and how is should be different, makes it easy to see where i need to improve and how to, already feeling much more confident with essay questions

This is the first time we used remote tutoring and it seemed to work very well. David had skype sessions with my son every week. I got feedback from David via e mail and my son felt David certainly knew his subject and that the sessions were of definite benefit. We await his exam results with interest!!

David has really helped our daughter to become more confident with Economics. He realised very quickly what she needed to improve on and his calm, friendly manner and teaching style have been just what she needed. So far she has completed three sessions via Skype. David is reliable with setting and marking of homework and we are just so pleased with progress so far. With David's input I am confident that she will achieve a better grade in her AS resit in January.

David picked up very quickly where my son's 'problems' lay and was able to offer extremely appropraite tutoring in the areas where my son knew either little about the subject/ approach and/ or where he was simply confused.

David has tutored our son for about 4 sessions now and we are pleased with him. My son likes him and he seems very easy to get on with. Even after such a short time, our son seems more confident about Economics and is keen to continue with his tutoring. So far, so good!

My son, Jamie, has been having David for tutoring since November in preparation for Units 2 and 3 in 'A' level Business Studies (AQA) which he will take at the end of January. We are very happy to have David's expertise on exam technique and answering exam questions and Jamie seems happy with how it's all going and he seems to get along with him very well. David is always on time and gives a full session, sometimes going over the allocated time and rounding off the session well, until the next hourly session, often that same week. I would highly recommend David.

**Telephone Number Removed** Just completed 3 months of weekly tutoring for my son in Economics A2 units 3 and 4, for a re-take of Unit 3 and first take of Unit 4 this summer. Dave has been a fantastic help, simplifying things, giving my son confidence, making him see that he knew more than he thought and doing practice questions every week. Can't rate him highly enough, my son got on well with him, establishing instant rapport, and looked forward to the sessions. Thanks Dave!

Dave was a great help to my son, we've only had 2 sessions so far, but will be booking some more. My son reported that Dave explained things well and that he felt much more confident after his sessions. Going forward we will be seeking help with content and exam technique to help him with a final push to a good mark in his A2 this summer.

First class tutor. Extensive subject knowledge and a very patient approach. My daughter went from a ‘D’ to an ‘A’ in her AS Business exam.

David has been a great help to our daughter, although he has only visited twice so far. He has a very good understanding of her needs and how best to approach the exams. He is always punctual and has already established a great rapport.

David is always on time and starts tutoring straight away. David always asks me to repeat his instructions so he is sure that I understand everything. I am given regular homework which is marked at the beginning of the next lesson.
I am very happy with the way I am tutored by David as I feel that he has helped me not only understand the subject better but has also increased my confidence levels!!
