Hi, I'm David, a graduate in History & International Politics from Aberystwyth University. I am currently taking on students studying History and/or Politics at secondary, GCSE and A Level.

Tutoring Experience

I graduated from Aberystwyth with a 2:1, receiving awards for my work in the area of historiography (the way in which history is written and presented). I am life long learner, often with my head in books. I love nothing more than expanding my knowledge and communicating knowledge to others in a way that is accessible and engaging.

Outside of tutoring, I have experience in heritage management and working in the museum sector, presenting information to members of the public of all ages.

Tutoring Approach

In my tutoring, I take a patient and structured approach, beginning at the core and progressively building knowledge from there. I enjoy thinking carefully about the needs and learning styles of the individual student and how to tailor information in an effective and interesting way for them.
