A former lecturer at Middlesbrough College who is also a Chartered Engineer, Company Director and MSc Graduate, with 30+ years experience, gained predominantly by working for world-class pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, at varying levels of seniority, in areas of Quality, Compliance, Validation, Instrumentation and Electrical. I have a great ability to make the subjects enjoyable for any age of student.
Engineering involves a significant amount of Maths, Science and IT, therefore I'm able to motivate students to achieve good grades in these subjects. I have many past students who have gained a better understanding and grades due to my friendly approach.
I certainly benefited from private tuition delivered by an industry professional as a young student, which helped to lay the foundations of my career. I have been a tutor since 2009 and I'm a former lecturer at Middlesbrough College in Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
I always make the subject suit the audience by tailoring my lessons to the requirements of the student. I always try different approaches to ensure a good level of understanding. Significant improvements have been made by my students, as shown in their Grades. One student went from an F to a Grade C, just missing out on a B.
