I enjoy teaching physics. I have tutored for many years. I am GTCS registered and currently teach Higher physics at a college in Glasgow. I am semi retired and can offer daytime and some evening sessions. Over my years teaching I have developed an approachable style that encourages and supports the students progress.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a secondary teacher for more than 35 years. I have experience of all levels of teaching physics in Scottish schools. I am well acquainted with the Scottish Qualifications Authority standards and guidance.

Tutoring Approach

The teaching approach I adopt depends on the needs of the students. Are you desperate for a pass or are you desperate for an A? I am used to developing the skills and knowledge that equip the student for the success they want. I regularly work with school students and adults. I often work with students who are "crashing" Higher Physics or who are returning to physics after a break.
