I’m Dawn from China. Teaching has truly been a passion of mine, and I find it incredibly rewarding. In my free time, I love reading and watching various videos. Books provide me with deep insights, while videos keep me updated on the ever-changing dynamics of Chinese society and the world. These hobbies not only enrich my knowledge but also make my classes more engaging and interesting for my students.
Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of students—from overseas university students in China to high school students in South Korea, and even diplomats, company employees, and retirees in the UK. I’ve also enjoyed teaching very young children, making learning fun for even two-year-olds.
My academic background includes a Master’s degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Nanjing University, which provided me with a solid foundation in Chinese language teaching. I also hold a Master’s degree in Education and Professional Studies from King’s College London, where I became more familiar with international teaching methodologies. This combination allows me to teach with both rigor and creativity.
My students often appreciate how I naturally guide them to speak, gently correcting their mistakes while constantly encouraging them. I also design targeted questions to help them grasp the knowledge more effectively.
