Hi there! I'm Dea, I have been a teacher/tutor since 2016 after I moved to China for my further teaching studies.

I moved to China in 2016 to pursue my studies in Primary Teaching in ESL later studying Mandarin myself at Jiaotong University, Shanghai.

Tutoring Experience

I firstly taught over 2400 students grade 1-5 in rural Shandong, before moving on to teaching GCSE and IGCSE students in the big city (Shanghai). I came home after the pandemic and have continued my teachings with students aged 5-17. I have taught a range of students of different ages and abilities, helping them improve their English both as a first and second language to achieve their desired goals.

Tutoring Approach

It is important to me that my students believe in themselves as much as I do. Confidence is key, a lot of students underestimate their abilities. I am patient and clear. Learning should be fun, not only get results!
