Hi, I’m Dee —a passionate educator with a focus for helping students grow both academically and emotionally. With 20 years Secondary School teaching experience (former Assistant Headteacher & Head of RE) I offer tutoring with the aim to create a learning space where the student feels supported and motivated to thrive!

Whether we’re exploring ethical dilemmas in Religious Studies, unpacking theories in Sociology, or preparing for A-Level examinations, I tailor each session to your learning style and goals. I also blend in optional grounding and wellness techniques like staying positive, focused and the use of motivational tools such as weekly achievable targets to support clarity and reduce stress.

Tutoring Approach

My Approach:
I am available to teach online. I have delivered and taught from several RE exam boards, mainly AQA and OCR, WJEC and have a wealth of experience teaching KS 3, 4 & 5 students. The lessons are tailored to the students individual needs and working through key content, to help the individual work to the best of his/her ability. I believe planning and organisation are key to securing a sound foundation and aim to motivate and encourage students to reach their full potential.
I incorporate mindful study strategies, exam preparation and optional self reflection techniques, to recognise and celebrate progress.
