Doug has given our son a massive confidence boost with his positive can-do attitude.We are 3 lessons in and our son feels that maths is no longer the enemy!
Thank you for the kind comments. Maths is a special subject -- it is very easy for people to feel bad about themselves as a result of being exposed to it. Teachers in large (more than five students!) classes cannot do what is really very necessary: give confidence to the people they are teaching, which has to be done on a one-to-one basis. I'm very confident about this young man's upcoming exam and I'm glad that he is as well.

Douglas is so knowledgable and imparts it in a way that is so engaging. He is calm, friendly, quiet and relates very well to my child. There is no clock ticking in his lessons. He could teach for hours. My child is absolutely loving his lessons.These are very kind comments. Every child is special, but the boy I'm tutoring at the moment is rare, in that his intellectual curiousity has not been crushed out of him by the educational system.
