I studied Law at University and then went on to complete my Masters and work within the Legal industry, specialising in Medical Negligence. After years in the industry I took the opportunity to begin teaching, as that is where my passion was.
I am a mum to a little toddler who keeps me busy in between work and tutoring.
I have worked in a variety of schools across Liverpool and the Wirral ranging from a Private School in North Liverpool, an outstanding state secondary school in South Liverpool, and an all girls Comprehensive in the Wirral.
I have taught from KS3 - GCSE, both English Language and Literature, and also have experience with the KS2 curriculum. I have experience teaching a range of ability levels and pupils with additional learning needs.
My approach to teaching varies on the individual pupil and their needs, as I believe that one size does not fit all. For example, teacher centred, i.e teacher talking to pupil for most of lesson, facilitator e.g. Promiting self learning and critical thinking skills, and Hybrid or blended learning e.g blending my own personality and interests with my pupils needs.
