I'm Ed. I have a BSc in Economics (i.e. microeconomics, game theory, macroeconomics, finance, econometrics, money & banking), and a MSc in Statistical Science (i.e. probability, statistics, machine learning, multi-agent reinforcement learning, & supporting mathematics). I currently run a technology company. I have previously worked in finance and technology. I love learning and teaching. I am particularly interested in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, economics, finance, machine learning, language, philosophy, electrical engineering, product design, ux/ui design, and education.
I do private tutoring for casual self-directed learners.
I am currently NOT particularly familiar with (I)GCSE / IB / A Level curriculums, but am open to helping where I can (just message me). For A Level, I studied Economics, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry with a range of exam boards, though that was some time ago.
We would discuss what your goals are. I would then: (1) look for an appropriate textbook and online resources to introduce you to the content, (2) help you think of a project you'll find intrinsically interesting, and (3) scaffold further resources to help you complete that goal.
