Edward has tutored my son in Physics. He has been an incredible help getting through mock exams and has improved my sons grade. I would not hesitate in recommending him.

Edward is the perfect Maths tutor for my son. It literally only took one lesson for him ti find out where the gaps and challenges lie and work started instantly to get on top of this and give my son his confidence in Maths back. Worth every penny, thank you.

He's a very good teacher but was unfamiliar with the new maths A level course-this was 2 years ago. I am adult student and it was a steep learning course, i didn't know what a quadratic and what an integer meant - to look that up before A level tests is a bit brutal. You can learn stuff yourself but if you are new to maths you need to know what it is that you are suppose to learn. If you pick this tutor for A level make sure you have read the curriculum and have done GCSE not too far back that you cant remember any of it. He didn't go over the basics quickly which in maths you cant do without. If you are moving from GCSE to A levels then you should not have any problems. By the time i went over the GCSE stuff the A level course was over. It could have been better organised. It was like doing A levels without any GCSE background, going over GCSE using maths solutions website before seeing him might help.He is a very kind but I don't remember him setting homework.

Edward is a capable educator, knowledgeable & freindly. He certainly makes my son (A-levels student) at ease, thus ready to revieve & digest information. We are very pleased with Edward & highly recommed him to all… Bless him…

Ed has been a great asset to my daughter in achieving her potential at A Level Maths and Physics. She is a motivated student and understands the work but she has difficulty showing this in exams. Ed identified where she needed help, building her performance skills and her confidence as well as developing her understanding of difficult concepts in both subjects. Ed was extremely helpful in teaching me IB (International Baccalaureate) higher level maths. I wouldn't have understood many of the topics without going to tutoring sessions. He's very good at breaking down complex topics by visualisation and is happy to try a different explanation if you don't understand at first. Ed also helped my older sister with her A levels and she was very pleased with his tutoring as well. I would really recommend him and if you're struggling make sure to book lessons sooner rather than later.

Edward has tutored both my daughters for their Maths and further maths A levels. He was extremely knowledgeable not just with regards to the subject but also the course content and exams. Both daughters did extremely well getting A*. They both really enjoyed the lessons and found him approachable and kind.

I have never considered myself good at maths.I was always in the middle set and in the summer of 2015 I achieved a C grade in my GCSE. The following year I re took my GCSE maths and achieved a low B grade, despite my desire to study economics at a top university, I had given up on the prospect of taking an a level maths (required to study at my uni). In the summer of 2017, I decided that I wanted to give the a level maths my best shot and to try and get into my desired course. This is when I found Ed online, I spoke to Ed at his house and from the very start not only did he make me feel relaxed but he also assured me that I had the capability providing I worked hardly. During the year in which I completed my maths A level, Ed impressed me throughout. His ability to apply mathematics to the real life helped me to remain fully engaged whilst also allowing me to have a greater understanding behind the concepts. If ever I was stuck, Ed would always find alternative mathematical approaches to try and allow me to work out the solution. Every lesson was fast moving and challenging yet I looked forward to each and every one. In one year, Ed helped me go from a GCSE retake student to achieving an A grade in the new spec a level maths. If you want results, go for Ed, I have had tutors in the past and I can assure you he really is the best you will find.

Ed helped me over a period of about 18 months as I retook my Maths GCSE to improve my grade. I had not formally studied mathematics since 2009 but the tutoring was set at the perfect level of intensity.

There was not a single subject that Ed did not make simple and digestible, making sure everything is covered and all questions are answered. Using different teaching techniques in order to ensure that everything had been absorbed, and you will be able to repeat the exercises in a test environment.

My son has seen Edward a couple of times and found him very helpful for A1 maths .
He has been able to clarify certain topics for my son so that he is able to work independently with more confidence.

Friendly and helpful tutor. Connected well with my child. Was clear in his explanations. My son enjoyed his sessions with Edward (which is the first part of the battle in getting him to study). Not had the GCSE results yet, but in any case Edward definitely increased my son's confidence and understanding of maths.

My sons have found Ed's help invaluable. They really enjoy his teaching style and he covers any topics they want to go through, in detail ensuring they understand, before moving on. We're really glad we found him!

Edward has been tutoring me in A2 maths for a few months now, and our sessions are going really well. He listens patiently when I explain something I don't understand, and answers my questions clearly and his explanations are always thorough. He tailors lessons to my learning style and is helping stay me on track. I always feel comfortable working with Ed and leave our sessions feeling newly inspired and eager to continue. I believe Ed will do everything he can to help me succeed as he seems to genuinely care about my progress, and my confidence in my own ability has grown accordingly. I would highly recommend him.

My son saw Edward for just one session but he was perfect for what was required, explaining things well and in a clear and enthusiastic way.

Initially seemed like a very good match. After speaking to Ed on the phone, tutor doesn't travel, as it had indicated on the website… We tried to work it out, but we just couldn't… Such a shame! Very nice guy though :)

I contacted Edward to arrange tutoring for my son's Maths GCSE re-sit. My son had two sessions with Edward, which he really enjoyed, and his subsequent results showed a marked improvement. I would not hesitate in recommending Edward as he is very friendly and polite.

Excellent teacher - daughter needed some extra help with C3 and C4 papers at A level. Ed explained the solutions well and she found his advice very useful. I am sure she will be able to get the A grade she needs.

I cannot praise Edward enough!! He taught my son Louis over several months to prepare him for his GCSE Higher Maths. Not only did he get him to the predicted A - A* result but Louis really enjoyed his lessons. He has a fantastic teaching technique and Louis said that all of the areas where he was having trouble, Edward explained them so clearly and in such an interesting manner that he found it so much easier! He is a very special teacher and when Louis had to leave him he was very sad. Big thanks again Edward!

We chose Ed because of his excellent reviews and were not disappointed. My son (studying AS level) returned from each lesson bursting to practice what he had learnt and eager to work much harder- maths is by far his favourite subject now.

Edward is enthusiastic about maths and has made me more interested in the subject. He indentifies exactly where I need help and concentrates on this, which saves time. He is helpful but does not do the work for me. Edward has made all the difference and I am now much more confident in the subject
