I am a MFL teacher living in south-east London. I am passionate about learning and teaching languages and can speak French, Spanish and a little bit of Mandarin. I enjoy travelling, reading and jogging in my spare time.
I have been a languages teacher for 2 years and studying languages myself for 15 years. I have lived abroad in Shanghai, worked in Madrid and lived with families in France in order to practice my language skills.
Learning languages is different to learning other subjects in school. This is because language acquisition is a skills based process (4 skills to be precise!). So instead of learning information, you have to learn how to communicate. Learning languages should be fun, interactive and most of all focused on communication of language, rather than learning grammar rules. I teach using
