I am a professional, experienced teacher with a passion for science. I believe that with the correct support and a good level of challenge any student can understand, and love, the sciences!
I use a variety of learning methods, and tailor lessons for every student, to ensure that my teaching best matches the style of every person I teach.
I am committed to provide an excellent understanding of the basics of the sciences, and then to build upon these strong foundations to help every student achieve their aims.
I have a long teaching experience in schools, both in state and independent, both in the UK and abroad. This wide range has given me insight into a variety of qualifications, and teaching in a variety of methods. I have also taught a full timetable online, and so am more than capable of delivering excellent lessons online!
I have helped students with predicted grades of Fs and Es at GCSE achieve Bs and Cs, and the majority of my A-Level students achieve As and A*s, so I am fully confident that I can help any student, no matter the confidence level, achieve their goals.
I believe in an individualised approach to learning, and I will always begin my first lesson by finding out the preferred learning style of my student.
I use quizzes and exam questions regularly to check learning.
I will be using various online platforms including Google, but am flexible if another platform or method is preferred!
