Elise

Hello, my name is Elise and I am from Toronto, Canada. I am particularly passionate about watching my students succeed in their studies, whether it be learning English or advancing their Maths and Science skills.

Tutoring Experience

I've been a certified teacher for almost 2 years, but have 3+ years of teaching experience in the classroom. I also have 5+ years of experience tutoring students in Maths and Science (Biology and General Science)

I studied Kinesiology at York University in Toronto, Canada from 2012-2017 and earned a Bachelors of Science degree. I then went on to pursue teaching and studied at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology from 2019-2021. I earned a Bachelors of Education degree and began my first teaching job in January of 2021.

Since then, I have moved my career overseas to London England and have been teaching secondary school.

Tutoring Approach

I like to get to know my learners first to understand how they learn best. I then modify my teaching style to accommodate them best.
