I live in Surrey, where I studied Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Further Mathematics A Levels. In 2017, I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Biological Natural Sciences, majoring in Biochemistry. Currently, I am a Masters student at Imperial College London. As a tutor, I am passionate about helping students to reach their full academic potential and to achieve academic success.
I have had a diverse range of teaching experience, across all age groups and levels. Whilst at school I offered academic support to my fellow younger students, in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. During my gap year, I independently tutored students who were working towards their public exams. Whilst at University, I worked closely alongside my peers in supervision groups, thereby offering academic support to my peers. Currently, I tutor students in maths and science across multiple age levels and exam targets.
As a tutor, I am passionate about helping students to reach their full academic potential and in achieving academic success. I am focused on developing competence and confidence in scientific knowledge and application, and in preparing for optimal exam performance. This involves covering theory in detail and troubleshooting any queries the student has. Subsequently we progress to practise examination questions, working through problems to gain maximum exposure.
