eacher and legal-social analyst/assistant worker for the public and civil fields with a manifold background being originally Afro-Spaniard, but raised primarily within the UK although I have experienced life in four continents (Europe, Africa, Asia, and America). In the light of my flexed educational setting and socio-cultural variations, I am a natural linguist and gifted trilingual (English, Spanish and French) with a capacity to unravel specialist techniques to accelerate the acquisition of specific knowledge for those who struggle academically and/or for those who aim to excel in their target language for multi-purposes: Study, Tourism, Business, Work-life and/or Interpersonal-social use. I also have a basic to medium-level comprehension of the Arabic languages. Furthermore, I am a punctual person who understands the systematic commitment to teaching, the preparation required and the ability to adapt according to the needs and abilities of any given student founded upon uniquely created scripts and uniquely compiled exams on key tenses for English Learning as a Foreign Language from basic/initial level to a systematically more complex level.
Teaching Experience: A Tutor of languages for five years working with students of almost all age groups from 16 + to circa 50 years of age and from a range of diverse linguistic backgrounds and abilities: Polish, Pakistani, Slovakian, Arabic, Turkish, Latin American, Spanish, French as well as English. Specifically, preparing mature students for cultural immersion and younger students for the IELTS and TOEFL exams whilst basing my teaching practice on qualified and certified materials and resources (DELE for Spanish/The British Council language web-pages for English as the ultimate authority to cross-check) for my personal teaching as well as a more personalised pedagogy depending on the student's strengths and/or weakness in the acquisition of learning: certified GCSE and A level handbooks/manuals in the target languages of various exam specifications, depending on the students’ educational requirements (e.g., AQA – Oxford) having exposure in the main continents (Europe, Asia and Africa) interacting with the official languages of these cultures to a proficient standard. I have also engaged in specific assistive work within the field of 'Special Educational Needs': From January 2020 - February 2020: Student 1 - English Student from Latin America A1 CEFR (16 y/o) [Autistic] (Private Tuition) January 2020 - March 2020: Student 2 - English Student from Latin America bordering A1 CEFR (20 y/o) [Autistic] (Private Tuition) In May of 2021, I attended Linden Lodge in Wimbledon, London - participating as a volunteer for the care of adolescents with deep/profound neurological needs. This has given rise within me in being sensitive to personal educational needs overall as well as my own personal journey.
I utilise the PPP method, the TTT method and TBL often times. However, from experience simple matching, sorting and identification exercises work most effectively. My areas of specialism holistically are: Reading: (Focusing upon general comprehension, syntax comprehension, skimming and in-depth techniques), Speaking: (reinforcing conversational techniques to develop confidence via ready-made and modified/spontaneous transcripts), Listening: (Concentrating on pronunciation and phonetics, basic sentence structure and passages then testing comprehension with questions), Writing: (presenting mini-essays for a brief introduction and putting into practice phrases and grammar - formalities versus informalities) and Vocabulary: (Enriching self-expression via basic to advanced high-level language [formal and informal contexts].
