I am currently working as an EYFS teacher in a specialist school having taught all education phases from Nursery to Sixth Form. Previously, I was a Special Needs English and Maths teacher in a mainstream Secondary School with over 10 years teaching experience. I can offer English and Maths tuition and 11+ coaching individually tailored to a student’s needs. I can also carry out access arrangements assessments for exam concessions such as extra time.
Tutoring Experience
13 Years teaching experience in Mainstream and Specialist Schools: 7 years experience as a Religious Studies/ Humanities teacher, 5 years as Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator across two school sites, and 3 years as a Special Needs English and Maths teacher.
Tutoring Approach
I am calm, patient and well organised. I believe in a creative approach to learning through lots of varied activities, past papers and learning games. I will rigorously track student progress and provide feedback for improvement.
