I have taught children in key stage 1 and key stage 2 for over 20 years. I hold the SENCO qualification. I am a mum of 2 girls.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught from Reception to year 6, whole class, in small groups and 1;1. I have worked with children with dyslexia and dyslexic tendencies, to support their development and confidence towards learning. I am also experienced working with children with ASD and ADHD, having taught in specialist provision for 14 years.

Tutoring Approach

I believe that every child has the potential to learn and achieve. I take a holistic approach to learning and always use the child's interests and starting point. I am experienced working with a range of teaching styles. I am calm, supportive and patient in my teaching style, giving each child descriptive praise and points to develop.
