I am a fully qualified maths teacher with over 12 years experience teaching maths at all levels in the classroom. I have tutored individual students for over 8 years and really enjoy seeing the quick progress students make when being taught 1 - 1. This in turn has helped boost my student's confidence in maths which has allowed them to thrive in their classroom environment.
I have taught for over 12 years, age groups from year 7 to year 11. Lower sets to very high ability groups. I have tutored for over 8 years.
I am very approachable, calm and good at asking leading questions which enables students to build on existing knowledge. My students have always said they are much more confident after a tutoring session and feel happier at tackling problems in the classroom. I am adaptable and because I have extensive teaching experience I can explain how to solve problems in a variety of ways and know which resources are best suited for my students.
I tutor from my home in a calm, quiet environment which is set up for the needs of my students.
