• Worked in Sales initially to gain a better idea of the business. Learnt invaluable customer service skills and enjoyed helping people.
• Promoted to work in the supplier’s department of the company and worked closely with our UK and Spanish suppliers ensuring all appliances were in stock. Worked closely with our freight companies to ensure everything arrived in Gibraltar. Developed my excel and computer skills whilst also improving my communication and problem-solving skills.
• Worked in both English and Spanish as Gibraltar is a highly multicultural area.

Nov 2018- May 2019                                              English language Tutor at ‘Play and Learn’, Menorca/Spain 

• Part of a dedicated Tutor team at ‘Play and Learn’ (an after school English centre) which creatively teaches English to Spanish children aged 3-16.
• Supervised and tutored small groups of children and helped them develop their English language skills. The company prioritised learning through games and fun activities, so I learnt invaluable experience of how to manage a group of people and also great conversation skills and teamwork skills as I liaised with my colleagues in order to deliver fun ways of learning a second language.

• Worked in 2 primary schools.
• Planned and prepared activities which helped to teach English and promote aspects of British culture. I helped students aged 3-12 to develop their English language abilities and helped them prepare for their upcoming examinations whilst also working closely with my Tutors in order to create innovative classroom activities which enhanced my critical thinking skills.
• Developed my confidence whilst also teaching me the importance of group collaboration and time management as we had to adapt and make sure every child was benefiting from our activities.
