Emily is a great English tutor. Emily makes the lessons enjoyable which is perfect as English is not my favourite subject. I have really liked how Emily has been able to suit the style of teaching to something that works for me. I haven't had an English teacher or tutor as good as her. I have been able to become more confident with exam questions and know what each question requires. Thank you Emily!

My 9 year old loved working with Emily over his holiday… and he doesn't usually love or like working with or for anyone! she managed to keep him engaged and he has asked if she can come again next time he is on holiday!!

Emily is a great tutor. I came to her as a struggling history student requesting her services with which she provided massive help. Emily managed to clarify a vast quantity of information in the short space of only four weeks; more than any of my lecturers could do in the space of twelve, whilst offering a flexible schedule that still allowed for me to study and work both full and part time respectively. Emily is quick to provide useful handouts, web links, journal articles etc. that steered me on the right path of information/studies that aided in my knowledge and understanding. Emily also offers critical evaluation that is fair, concise and still respectful of one's efforts to achieve. Without Emily's help I would not have passed.

Emily has been a fantastic tutor for our daughter and helping her to focus on her history is really making the difference. Emily is positive and provides great feedback after the lesson which as a parent provides reinforces the belief it is moving in the right direction. My daughter saw the subject as a lesson and exam that wasn't worth bothering with and was on a fail grad. With Emily's help, I feel she might actually pass the exam. I only wish we had found Emily earlier as I am certain that the results would have been a certain pass.

I have had 3 or 4 sessions with Emily and i feel i have benefited greatly . She has proved friendly , enthusiastic and is helping with those areas in which i needed help , notably in the structure and planning of essays

My daughter has had her first session with Emily which she enjoyed. They covered a lot in just one hour and there was lots of laughter which is always a great motivator for learning!
