I am an enthusiastic educator who appreciates that mainstream education isn’t for everyone! I can support your child with 1:1 tuition in maths, reading, writing and handwriting. I will ensure that our lessons are tailored to your child's needs; making sessions engaging and enjoyable, boosting confidence and enabling your child to progress.
I have worked for four years in a specialist dyslexia primary setting, supporting children in the KS1 and KS2 curriculum. This has given me a very unique outlook on education, as I have taught children with a wide range of abilities from children with dyslexia/dyscalculia/ASD through to those who enjoy a challenge and need stretching.
I like to use a child-centred approach to educating, as I truly believe every child can succeed. My job is to work with the you and your child to find the tools for success. I will use a range of educational resources (including worksheets & games) to engage and motivate your child. I am a big advocate for children's mental health.
