Bonjour! I’m a Secondary trained French and Spanish Teacher living in Newport. I also have a Cambridge CELTA qualification.

Tutoring Experience

I love teaching French GCSE but equally happy to tutor KS3. I have taught here in the UK for the past 5 years, both AQA and Edexcel. I am also happy to help teach beginners French, or if you would like to brush up for business or a trip to France.I also thoroughly enjoy teaching Spanish KS3 and basic speaking skills.

Prior to teaching MFL, I taught English (ESL) in Vienna, Austria and also on Reunion Island.

Tutoring Approach

I’m a self confessed French nerd who loves to pass on my knowledge and enthusiasm of the language. Happy to adapt my teaching for your individual needs and get you where you need to be! I use lots of Conti style approcahes, such as sentence builders, WAGOLL (what a good one looks like). I endeavour to upscale vocabulary and help you retain what you learn with me, through different techniques.
