I am a fully qualified teacher and I taught in a local Primary school, predominantly in Year 6, for twelve years. I now work as a private tutor and greatly enjoy working one to one with my pupils to help them really achieve their full potential.

Tutoring Experience

I am a fully qualified teacher and have a great deal of experience in teaching Primary school children, KS2, for both Maths and English. I have recently assisted Primary pupils in the Far East with their studies at British International school. I have also tutored for the Eleven Plus examination for the past 14 years and hold 100 % pass rate for this which I am very proud of. I have also had a great deal of success with pupils applying for the top London schools.

Tutoring Approach

One to one tuition is extremely successful and grades can soar if there is a partnership between student and tutor. I tailor each session to the individual and complete a full introductory session and assessment to ascertain exactly what it is the student would like to achieve by undertaking private tutoring and then build a profile accordingly. I very much enjoy helping children achieve their academic goals.
