Ethar's Feedback

We got in touch with Dr E, as we call Ethar, to help our 16-year old son with his A-levels in Business and History. We also wanted to find someone who could help him with study methods, essay writing and overall commitment to his learning. Dr E immediately established rapport with him and took the time to properly understand our son’s situation, what he is like as a person and what he needed help with. It was easy to see that he takes his tutoring seriously and wants to achieve great results. His lessons are engaging, well organised, structured and tuned in with what our son does at school. It is clear that Dr E manages to create an environment that engages our son in the topics and he says he really enjoys his time with Dr E. We would highly recommend him.

Ethar has been tutoring my son for about a month now and from the very beginning he we knew he was the perfect tutor for Callum. He’s incredibly knowledgable and experienced and he has a fantastic way of getting Callum engaged with the subject, he has a great sense of humour which Callum responds well too and with a perfect balance of teacher/friend, I would highly recommend Ethar.

Ethar is able to relate to our 17 year old son in a manner which is exactly the right mix of young person's friendliness with teacherly authority around getting work done and studying. He transmits (and works with the student's own) curiosity and enthusiasms and moves them on in study skills and knowledge through positive teaching methods. From session One, Ethar correctly identified our son's learning style, strengths and points which need working on, and has found exactly the right mix of offering new work and reiteration of longstanding work to get him moving. Our son looks forward to sessions, admires Ethar, ejoys the homework which Ethar sets with him, and is taking Ethar as inspiring model, which is helping our son to raise his game considerably.

Fantastic approach - thorough, intuitive, very diligent and intelligent. Thanks am very glad to have found him and to have his help as we head towards A levels.
