I am a fully qualified and experienced Maths teacher.

I have been teaching GCSE and A-level Maths since 2008.

I prefer to be addressed by my middle name, Evan.

I have experience teaching both tiers of GCSE, and the C1, C2, C3, C4, M1, S1 and S2 A-level modules.

Tutoring Experience

Regular one-to-one tutoring A-level Maths.

One-to-one tutoring of GCSE Maths.

Subject Leader for Maths since February 2020.

Teaching International Foundation Year Maths (A-level equivalent) to International students since January 2017.

Teaching GCSE Mathematics at a Key Stage 4 Studio school, where I had full sole responsibility for the entire Key Stage 4, September-December 2016.

Teaching Mathematics to Year 7-13 students (including both GCSE tiers and C1, C2, C3, C4, M1, S1 and S2 A-level modules), September 2008 - August 2016.

Tutoring Approach

I aim to get the best results, as quickly as possible. I like to identify weaknesses and gaps in knowledge and understanding, then work to improve them.

It is important to improve understanding so that you can make links between the different aspects of Maths, and do lots of practice to embed skills.
