Faiza

Nice to meet you, I’m Faiza! I’m currently a second year student at Kings College London studying medicine. I enjoy teaching as it allows me to help others in ways that tutors previously helped me in a way that helps them flourish and receive the grades that help them succeed.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a tutor for nearly 4 years , teaching a wide array of years and subjects to my students. My first student was when i was year 12 and i volunteered to teach GCSE students Mathematics. Over the course of our lessons , i helped her improve her exam skills technique while honing into the content and ensuring she know the correct formulas and styles of questions . She progressed from her initial grade of 5 , receiving an 8 in her GCSE exam.

Tutoring Approach

I teach content initially , using white boards to help them fully grasp the content and allow them to ask me questions on what they might not understand from their content. Once i feel confident in their knowledge, i then use exam questions to help them apply the content to exam question so they can properly understand it.
