I am a qualified Science teacher with a Masters in Chemistry. I work in a mainstream in a school in Oldham. I am Currently tutoring on a flexible timetable. I have a passion for teaching and learning and designing personalised teaching materials and plans. With more than 10 years experience in a variety of subjects. I have the confidence that I can help ALL my students to aim high as I believe everyone has an A* or grade 9 capability, with the correct guidance.

Tutoring Experience

I’ve worked as a science teacher for over 5 years in different schools in Oldham and Tameside.
Last year 7 of my GCSE students got four grade 9s, two grade 8 and one grade 7.

Tutoring Approach

Students learn best from someone passionate about the subject they are trying to learn. I am incredibly passionate about the subjects I teach and strive to simplify topics to make them clear and easy to understand. Often my ability to view a challenging topic from a pupil's perspective makes an explanation easier to understand than one coming from a teacher, for example.
