I am a qualified Mathematics teacher currently teaching in a secondary school in Birmingham with 10 years experience. I am an examiner for Edexcel and have 4 years experience of marking GCSE scripts.

I am quick to recognize the way in which a student thinks so can effectively explain mathematical processes in a way in which a child can understand.

Maths can be a very daunting subject at school so I aim to break down those barriers and make good grades achievable. I am very approachable, patient and understanding of the needs of all of my students.

Having been a student myself, I understand the pressure to achieve in school sometimes. With this in mind I aim to tailor the session to the needs of the pupil and address exactly what they feel they are struggling with. I believe preparation is key, and take pride in providing the best resources I can as an aid to learning. I am approachable and feel I can relate to students very well and build those important teacher student relationships.
