Hi, my name is Fiona and I am an experienced Head of Modern Languages/ Spanish with nearly 18 years classroom and tutoring experience, currently teaching French & Spanish to secondary students.
I can offer individual lessons/ group lessons and can tailor them to your individual needs. I offer evening classes and/or day classes. I can prepare students for GCSE/A-LEVEL and beyond and have experience of all major examination boards in the UK. I am particularly knowledgeable about AQA as I currently teach this specification.
Tutoring Experience
Six years at an independent day school (ranked in the top 5 schools in the UK).
Five years at a mainstream secondary school, including two years as Head of A-Level Modern Foreign Languages.
Five years as Head of Spanish/ Head of MFL.
Previous Head of MFL teaching in a mixed independent school GCSE and A Level French and Spanish.
Currently Head of Spanish teaching A Level Spanish in a high performing secondary school.
