It’s a pleasure to have Florence as a French tutor, and I would personally recommend her to anybody, since she’s not only kind and understanding, but she’s also very informative in her teaching, and has the best revision tips and techniques, especially when tackling questions in past papers.

I’ve only had 2 lessons so have not progressed far. However, I can Florence is a very pleasant lady and has understood what I want to achieve.
So, no complaints so far!

Florence is helping my daughter, Simran, with her higher French and so far she is really enjoying the extra lessons. Her French is improving steadily and hopefully she will get good marks this year!

I have had three lessons with Florence so far. I am very rusty but needed help in conversational French. Florence has been fantastic. She is patient, answers all my questions and the lessons are structured well with a balanced focus on vocabulary, verbs and conversation. Always wanted to speak another language, I love France so all i needed was to stop procrastinating and start learning.

I started french lessons with Florence recently and despite languages not being my strong point, I always look forward to our sessions especially as she is so relatable and easy to talk to.
She has the patience of a saint and always answers my incessant and at times inane questions with good humour and encouragement.
Our lessons are always punctual, informative, well structured and I feel I might eventually get somewhere.

My son has only had 2 lessons so far but already he’s said how much Florence has helped him. He also says how lovely she is and how much she puts him at ease.
We would definitely recommend her!

My daughter started Zoom sessions with Florence after we went into Lockdown and she was no longer attending classes at school. Florence has been an excellent teacher of French and has kept my daughter interested and engaged throughout the sessions. Her teaching is very clear structured and has been an enormous help during this tricky time in education. I hope to keep lessons going with Florence even after school life returns to normal. I can not recommend her enough if you are looking for a French tutor.

Florence is clearly an experienced, highly professional tutor. I approached her to improve my French as a requirement to do my PGCE for MFL Secondary in autumn with French as a third language. She knows the GCSE requirements inside out which is very important to me, she listens to my needs and gives good feedback about what I could improve and is good at increasing my confidence about where I already have strengths. She is also incredibly resourceful and supportive when it comes to advising on materials to work with that are right for my level. She is also a lovely person and maybe as my French improves, we will be able to chat in French for longer!

Ms. Florence is a fun teacher and helps me get more and more familiar with the French language. Having a native french person as my tutor has helped me progress my understanding and has allowed me to think and speak more like a native. Furthermore due to her teaching experiences she has allocated many resources and continues to find new ones.

Florence is a superb and wonderful tutor. I'm so glad I found her, her lessons are excellent. She has a brilliant sense of humour too! It's awesome to have found a tutor you can learn from and laugh with. She makes the lessons very relaxed. I am always nervous and don't trust myself but she puts me at ease and I am slowly learning to trust myself! My French has improved by miles in the time that I have been having lessons with Florence, I always look forward to our lessons.

What a delight it is to have found someone like Florence for improving my spoken and written French! Being a native-French speaker she keeps me up-to-date with modern day terms and phrases while I try to become more fluent. She is so helpful when I need to translate into academic French using what for her would be unusual terminology. And when we're not doing serious stuff we can have a laugh together! What more could I ask for?

Florence has shown me a variety of ways of learning the French language in a fun but informative way. I really enjoy my lessons with her and she is easy to get on with and is polite and friendly.

Florence is thorough and makes learning French fun as well as stimulating. Many lessons may be necessary yet in order to master the language but finally getting there with Forence's help, will be far from an ordeal.

Hi, Would just like to say Florence is a very good teacher of French. She goes at my pace (slowly!). Goes through words, phrases etc that I am not clear about and has a very comfortable room where we chat. I am very pleased I chose her and am going to take weekly lessons.

Florence is a very friendly and good-humoured person. She is tutoring both my wife (beginner) and myself (intermediate), and is very flexible in working with both of us at the same time. Florence is both practical and imaginative in the way she teaches. As she travels to our house, I might also add that she is a good time-keeper.

I started my lessons with Forence just a few months ago and already I have seen such an improvement. This weeks lesson was fantastic!! Most weeks there is a lesson plan and homework, but as this was the first lesson this year, we sat and had a catch up… sat and "gossiped" in french and it was such fun. Her lessons are full of helpful hints and tips on how to do things and say things in France, not just speak the language. She only speaks to me in french during my lesson, so listening really helps. I have improved so much, that I can now speak to people in France over the phone and not have to ask the dreaded "do you speak English?" Question!

Lots of fun, very friendly, very interesting lessons and most of all very patient. If you want to improve your existing skills or learn from scratch, Florence is the perfect teacher.

Florence is an excellent tutor. She has a lovely calming manner and is very welcoming and friendly. My daughter has enjoyed her sessions. Florence has increased her confidence in the subject and improved her understanding of a lot of areas of French that she was unsure of.
