I am a singer-songwriter and graduated from The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London. I am looking to teach guitar to beginners after having played for 15 years. My songs have been played on BBC Radio 6 Music and BBC Introducing in London, as well as added to the New Music Friday UK Spotify playlist.
I am also looking to teach French or English to beginners. I am half french and went to school at the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle in South Kensington. My lessons will be relaxed and unstructured, I am happy to follow a book, or simply practise speaking skills, or do some written translations - whatever you feel you need help with!
I focus on fingerpicking techniques, standard and jazz/extended chords and scales, basic theory, and can teach specific songs upon request. I also believe ear training is a very important part of learning an instrument! In addition, I can prepare you for Grade 1-3 if you are interested in passing the exam. My lessons will be relaxed and unstructured. I prefer to get to know my students individually so I can adapt my teaching approach to suit their specific needs.
