I am currently a student at the University of Edinburgh, pursuing a masters in Mechanical Engineering. I have completed A-Levels at Northampton School for Boys, passing maths(A*), further maths(A), physics(A*).

Tutoring Experience

I have had 3 previous tutees, all being tutored in GCSE level maths (foundation). 2 of these tutees where long term (1 lesson a week for 3/4 of a year), and the third tutee receiving lessons for 2 months prior to their exams.

Tutoring Approach

My Approach to Tutoring is question oriented, where I pick out harder questions from a range of topics and work through them with the tutee, as the harder questions often push our understanding of a subject. (the difficulty of these questions will depend on the abilities of the tutee)
If there are specific topics that the tutee is weaker in, then I would go over the principles of those topics and work through those questions with them, guiding them to the right answer without outright telling them how to get there.
