Feel like we struck gold finding Gary as a tutor. He is very understanding and supportive, his lessons are interactive and my daughter finds that he explains complex ideas in an easy way that she can understand. My daughter suffers from anxiety which has really affected her attendance at school, since having Gary as a tutor she has regained some of her confidence and enjoyment in learning again. Thank you Gary, you have given us hope!

Gary has done both in-person and online tutoring for my daughter. He is very organised and easy to understand which has helped her understand the more challenging content of the Higher Geography course. Would highly recommend.

My daughter has just started working with Gary. She finds his sessions very clear, interactive and interesting. She feels more confident in Higher Geography now as Gary explains the topics well and relates everything to SQA requirements.

Gary quickly developed a really good rapport with my son, and has made a big difference to his knowledge, confidence and interest in Geography and his progress in the subject at Higher level.

Gary was absolutely fantastic. My son only worked with Gary for a couple of months, having failed his Geography Higher prelim at the start of the year and I am delighted to say that for his actual SQA Higher Geography exam, he has confidently passed. My son had only good things to say about his lessons with Gary and it really seemed like a 'switch was flicked'; as the course material was explained in a way that could be understood. My son is dyslexic, which makes revision and memory retention difficult however, Gary's teaching got him through and he is now considering doing Advanced Higher Geography next year.

Gary has proved to be an invaluable asset to my son's geography revision schedule. He is punctual, comes to lessons well prepared and has an infectious enthusiasm for the subject that appears to be rubbing off on my son! I know from talking to my son that he now has a better understanding of the more challenging areas in the syllabus which has given him more confidence as his exams approach. Gary has been a great find for us and I would recommend him, without any hesitation, to other students.

First class tutor with detailed knowledge of your subject which you are able to easily convey to students. Your enthusiasm for your chosen subject is such that learning is both an enjoyable and rewarding experience. The breadth of subject matter covered through your tutorials provides students with the best chance possible of passing their exam. Gary stepped in failrly last minute for us with lots of enthusiam and a smile. He’s a fantastic teacher who helped with final higher exam preparation.
