I've always enjoyed problem solving and studied applied mathematics at university, achieving a first class honours degree. Since then I have worked in various programming and data roles within the Water Industry and in academia. Throughout my career I have applied my mathematics knowledge to real world problems.
In 2013 I graduated with a degree in applied mathematics from the University of Stirling. During my time at Stirling I completed a variety of education modules where I gained hands-on experience lesson planning and delivering lessons to small groups of local secondary school students. I have also previously volunteered at an education charity in Dundee, tutoring students in Maths on a one-on-one and in group basis.
Each session is tailored to the student. The focus is on areas that the individual feels they need the most help with or areas that are identified through working on past papers if preparing for an exam.
I will be offering sessions from August 2024.
