George is a superb tutor and much in demand. He has been tutoring my son Owen in A-level Economics for the past 2 months. Owen is very happy with George’s support and during this time Economics seems to be emerging as his favourite subject.

Beyond his evident expertise in economics, George's approach is very structured and organised. This is exactly what we were seeking for Owen, as it's the area he sometimes struggles in.

As George goes through topics, he provides model answers that are geared towards meeting the needs of examiners by ticking the right boxes. He also makes sure, step-by-step, that Owen truly understands each aspect covered by having him explain back. This intense focus and attention to detail is what sets George apart.

I would also add that he has been very helpful in advising Owen more broadly (e.g. the doing an EPQ vs 4 A-levels question) and in providing detailed feedback on his progress.

George has been tutoring my three sons (15,13 and 11) for the last four years.
I cannot recommend him highly enough, he is kind, intelligent and one of those
incredible teachers you don’t meet very often. All three boys are top of their
respective maths sets (all are in the extended maths groups) and have considerable
knowledge above their age range. This knowledge is now deeply embedded

thrown at them.

George works in dynamic and intuitive way. He structures the lessons differently for
each child and plays to their particular strengths. He takes a nuanced approach,
making sure the work is varied and interesting whist ensuring the curriculum is
covered. If the boys need to be pushed George works out ways to stimulate them
and make maths exciting, and if they are struggling with anything he will slow down
and allow them to learn the subject thoroughly. George’s teaching is not surface
level.

George has developed a deep repour which each child and they trust him and look
forward to their lessons. George has also provided useful resources and excellent
exam/ interview techniques that have helped the boys in their wider school life.

In addition, George works well with neurodivergent children, working with the
advantageous aspects of dyslexia and ADHD (never seeing neurodivergence as an
impediment) and giving the boys the stamina and confidence they need to succeed.
If you get the chance to employ George as your tutor – jump at it. He is an
excellent teacher and an excellent human. Any child or adult would be lucky to work
with him.

George is a very good economics tutor. He helped me achieve an A where i was struggling to get Bs in my study of economics. I 100% recommend him.

Our son started seeing George for for tutoring for four months prior to his A Level Economics retake. From the outset, George has been extremely professional and gave our son a huge amount of confidence in the lead-up to his exams. He was extremely clear in explaining concepts and filling in any gaps that our son hadn't grasped in group classes at Sixth Form College. The regular homework that was set, and the subsequent discussions regarding it were of great value to our son gaining a better understanding of the topics covered. Great tutor, helped a lot explaining micro and macro content of a level

The lessons with George are really helpful. He has notes that are designed to cover each topic and evaluation linked to those topics, so if you are struggling with your evaluation and analysis, his lessons will be very effective.

George has been terrific for my year 11 son who has IGCSE and AQA Level 2 this summer. They are able to cover new ground in the further maths paper as well as revise the completed IGCSE curriculum. The remote learning technology George uses is effective in the one-to-one sessions.

George is a fantastic teacher, a lovely person and I cannot recommend

For the last couple of years George has worked with my eldest son, who’d been
having a tricky time at school and getting bored in Maths. Since working with
George, my son has grown in confidence, is significantly in front of anyone in his

George has been tutoring my son in mathematics for several years and I can’t recommend him strongly enough. When my son completed year 6 maths was one of his weaker subjects. Since he was attending a highly academic school with high expectations in Maths we felt it important to get a good tutor to ensure he didn’t fall behind.
Not only has the tutoring with George ensured he hasn’t fallen behind, but after several months with George, he was placed in the top set for mathematics. Maths is now a very strong subject for him as he goes into his final GCSE year.
George has an excellent friendly and engaging way about him and even though the tutoring has been remote, it has been outstanding. I couldn’t imagine it being any better in person. My son looks forward to his time with George since he enjoys the deeper understanding of
