I am an enthusiastic and passionate primary school teacher who qualified from university in 2010. I am currently working full time as a principal teacher while studying part time for my Masters Degree. I enjoy the challenge of my job and I am always looking at ways to enhance my professional development.
I have over 14 years of teaching experience and have had the opportunity to teach at all stages of the primary curriculum. Over the last two years, my focus has been on pupil support and closing the poverty-related attainment gap as PEF Principal Teacher. I have excellent knowledge of the school curriculum and I am trained and experienced in delivering several additional support programmes.
As I do within my classroom I will aim to meet the specific needs of each child I tutor and will use relevant planning and resources to suit the learner. I will ensure the child is involved in target setting and that the targets we set together are both realistic and achievable to see a clear progression in their learning.
