I am easy-going and empathetic, and find it easy to form good relationships with people, irrespective of age or background. I have a first class degree from King's College London and a Master's in Classics from the same institution.
I have a PGCE in Classics and taught for four years at a prestigious independent boarding school. Whilst at university, I ran a homework club for Kensington and Chelsea Libraries and tutored regularly before qualifying as a teacher.
I have always believed that establishing a strong rapport and relationship between pupil and teacher/tutor is crucial to producing positive results. Consequently, I rely heavily on humour, patience and mutual respect to generate the confidence and enthusiasm that is key to long-term success.
