I am a had working and motivated individual who is keen to see others do well in Mathematics. I enjoy teaching and especially love meeting new people.
I began my NQT year in 2014 at Manor Primary School in Bilston.
In the next academic year I joined Saint Michaels Primary school and was responsible for delivering the Year 5 Maths curriculum across the year group.
In January 2018 I made the switch to secondary school and have taught all years up to GCSE since then; working at both state and private schools.
Throughout my teaching career I have tutored pupils in Maths. I especially tutoring 1-2-1 as I can say that it is those sessions that pupils make the most progress.
Most recently I helped three pupils pass their Maths GCSE with a 4 when their targets were 3 or lower and one pupil achieved targeted with a 5 achieving a 6.
In my sessions I aim to build confidence, instil resilience and provide clear step by step methods to solving problems.
I enjoy teaching pupils who struggle with Mathematics and aim to help them build their confidence as well as develop their understanding of the key mathematical concepts.
I also enjoy teaching more able pupils who are aiming to achieve grades 9 and above on their GCSEs
