I’m Geraldine and I’m the A-level English Language Expert with 20 years’ experience and great results!

Is your young person being taught A-level English Language by a non-specialist? Does their teacher lack experience or worse still lack interest and enthusiasm for this fascinating subject? Unfortunately, these all too common scenarios can limit your young person’s progress and university options.
It can cause your young person to feel stressed, confused and bewildered. They may have no idea how to improve and structure their exam responses or apply theory. It can create wide chasms in their knowledge and understanding, preventing them from achieving higher level exam success.

This is where I can help. With my rigorous, well honed and highly accomplished approach to tuition, I support and guide students through complex subject matter, perceptive analysis and lead them towards exam confidence. My ultimate goal is to ensure that they know exactly how to tackle each and every exam question - without feeling lost, blank or clueless.

One of my most recent students has gone from getting C grades for her exam responses to getting an A grade on results day and securing a university place at Kings College, London to study Language and Linguistics.
