I have been involved with Music for 30 years with singing, playing the church organ, and playing the piano at toddler groups. I have also been a member of many choirs over the years and performed solos at many events.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching privately for more than 30 years with great successes both for examinations ABRSM as well as for fun! I have students of all ages many of whom do not want to do exams but play for pleasure. However, for those who want to take exams, I have had extremely goods results. I also prepare students for theory exams.

Tutoring Approach

Student led teaching - I progress with the student's pace of learning and experience - trying to make it enjoyable for them as well as making sure that they have a good grounding in the fundamentals of playing the piano.
