Christopher Giles's Feedback

Giles was absolutely fantastic. He made my son fall back in love with english literature and helped him gain confidence with his english language. My son gained the GCSEs he needed to progress onto his next steps at college and Giles definitely helped him do this. Thank you so much Giles !!!

First and foremost I feel that the student should be leaving feedback and not the parents. Ruby is very happy with Giles. Ruby will leave a more comprehensive feedback, once all tuition is complete.

Giles has been working with my son for a few months supporting him with GCSE English Literature. Giles was quick to develop a good rapport with my son and he was quick to establish areas which needed attention. Giles has been tutoring our son Tom (aged 14) for the past six months in preparation for his GCSE English Literature and Language. Tom initially wasn't keen on tutoring like most teenage boys - however Giles engaged with him well from the off and he has really enjoyed his weekly sessions. Giles has a very relaxed humorous teaching style and Tom finds he explains concepts well and is easy to understand. He has given Tom lots of fantastic tips to use in his coursework and exams along with a good structure to use when approaching exam questions. Tom's predicted grades for English Language have improved from Grade 3/4 up to 5/6 since he has started sessions with Giles.
Giles was initially coming to our house to tutor but since lockdown the sessions moved seamlessly onto Zoom and these remote sessions are working really well.
Giles has a good knowledge of GCSE exams, the marking schemes and the school system in general. He has done some mentoring with Tom helping him to decide what to do after GCSEs.
Giles has been very flexible with sessions and will invariably rearrange at short notice if we ever can't make a session.
We would not hesitate to recommend Giles to other parents for GCSE and A Level Tutoring.

Giles is amazing!!! He tutored my son, Tobi, specifically for his GCSE English for about 4 months leading to his examination. After one month of Tutoring, Tobi confirms things that were not clear to him before were becoming clearer. Tobi went to the exam very confident of himself. And Giles give regular feedback on the tutoring.

Giles has been helping our daughter with English which he is doing brilliantly as he makes the subject interesting and fun. We have already, in a short space of time, seen a difference in her confidence and how she approaches her homework. We have had a note back from school recognising how well she is doing in English which is great feedback for us but also great independent recognition for Giles!
