I've been tutoring GCSE students for 9 years and working as an exam invigilator in a local secondary school for 7 years.

Tutoring Approach

I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for German and Spanish and try to make lessons fun and memorable. Lessons are tailored to individual needs and ability and prepared thoroughly in advance. I provide extra materials on grammar and vocabulary free of charge.
Practice in speaking forms an important part of the class, as there is little time for this at school. I focus on building students' confidence in speaking and writing, which are usually the most challenging skills.
Naturally I can help students get to grips with grammar, as well as widening their vocabulary
