I have been a classroom teacher since 2010: as a trainee teacher, classroom teacher and as a supply teacher to primary and secondary schools in the UK.
I am currently teaching online with zoom. I inquire about learning goals, I find out the learner's current attainment (sometimes liaising with the school or college or reading school report or discussing with parents) and together we draw up a scheme of learning.
I believe in supporting, motivating and preparing students to achieve in public examinations.
My UK teaching experience spans over nine years in schools, colleges which are mainstream schools and also in Alternative Provisions with SEND students.
I do one to one and small group Maths tuition to prepare students for 7+, 11+ and 13+ Common Entrance examinations; KS2, KS3, GCSE and A Level Maths examinations.
I have a flexible approach to teaching that takes into consideration different learning styles, hence I endeavour to create variety in lessons, making use of activities during which learning takes place. I believe in developing a good teacher/student relationship and engaging pupils in lessons in order to gain their trust and be able to manage the learning environment.
