Hi, my name is Grace Zhang, I come from Australia and have recently relocated to the UK. I completed my PhD in Construction Management in 2024. I am fluent in both Mandarin and English, and I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic and professional goals. :)

Language & Maths Tutoring: Native Mandarin speaker with two years’ part-time experience teaching Primary Maths, focusing on building strong foundations and problem-solving skills.

International Recruitment & Application Coaching: Five years’ experience in international recruitment in Australia, specialising in personal statement preparation, university applications (Australia/New Zealand bachelor’s and master’s degrees), and interview preparation for higher education roles in both the UK and Australia.

Academic Skills: Strong expertise in systematic literature reviews and academic writing.

Tutoring Approach

I believe learning should be engaging and practical. From experience, students often find it challenging to stay focused for long periods, so I break lessons into short, interactive segments:

2. Practise together to identify challenges.
3. Focus on building your strengths while turning weak areas into skills you can confidently use.
