I am open-minded, approachable, honest and friendly. With these personal qualities, I see prior disengaged students becoming more enthusiastic to ask questions and engage in the subjects that I teach. Hence, they are able to learn deeply and retain new knowledge.
I have a full time lecturing job teaching mostly engineering maths and science (Monday to Friday, 9 to 4), and mostly free evening hours. Weekends, I can adjust and teach hours within 12noon to 8pm.
Am an experienced mathematics and engineering science tutor with a passion for fostering academic excellence. Since 2017, I have dedicated myself to helping students achieve their goals, ensuring a deep understanding of mathematics and science, and building the confidence needed to excel in examinations. My years of teaching experience have resulted in numerous success stories, with students achieving notable improvements in their academic performance. I have a proven track record of guiding students through both foundation and higher level GCSE mathematics.
I tailor my lesson plan to suit each individual student as I understand that students learn differently. I assess my students’ abilities by setting worksheets and targeted questioning, and from their performances, I can identify areas of strength and weakness. Areas needing improvement are identified and I deal with each student’s weak areas by comparing and explaining the subject in real-life terms, and setting up classwork where I participate with them and later give out homework to get them used to the topic to motivate them to succeed.
