I am a historian of political thought and political scientist who has taught a range of subjects in the fields of History, Politics and International Relations. I hold a Ph.D. in Political Theory from the EU-funded European University Institute in Florence, Italy. Prior to that, I obtained an M.A. in Intellectual History from University College London (Distinction) and read History at the University of Bristol, UK.
I have taught History, Politics and International Relations at all levels of education system (GSCE, A Levels, BA, MA). I currently serve as Associate Professor at the British University in Georgia and have also taught at a number of other universities in Georgia. Moreover, I have delivered papers on history, political theory and international politics at international conferences in the US, UK, France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Georgia and Armenia.
I value individual experience and serving the needs of particular students as determined jointly. My main ambition is always to ensure that my students achieve their goals and succeed in their endeavours. In order to make sure this happens, I will use all the appropriate methods, including interactive method and engage with students to the greatest extent possible to hear their thoughts on the process and how best we can jointly achieve the desired result.
