I have studied English, History, Business, and Biology all throughout my secondary school education up until A levels, wherein I achieved A* in all of them, and I am currently pursuing Common Law.
Having been an avid reader, I have dedicated a profound portion of my time to analyze various forms of texts such as poems, transcripts, and stories alongside historical documents. English has always been my favorite subject, a passion that allows me to teach the issue with ease and create an environment wherein students thrive and progress, with the same ease.
Also, I am a qualified teacher of English as a second language, as I have completed a TEFL certification, hence I can provide the best guidance and share my knowledge as a trained teacher.
More to add, I am a law student at the University of Glasgow, I have a determined interest in the legal field and have dedicated my time to further my understanding of the Law. I have learned courses ranging from; Tort Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and Public International/Human Rights Law. Hence, I can provide guidance alongside entrance exams such as the LNAT/CLAT. Studying the subject at the university level allows me to possess the required comprehension to teach students who wish to pursue the same path as myself.
At my old boarding school, I used my talents as a tutor to lead and assist pupils in reaching their individual goals. I have been teaching children and adult casual learners for more than 4 years. I want to use this platform to improve my talents, obtain more experience, and help students who simply want to get better.
Moreover, as a part of my TEFL certification, I have practiced with several students while learning the course and have gained ample teaching experience with children of all ages.
My method of teaching relies on open communication and interaction with my pupils, who are free to ask as many questions as necessary. I make an effort to provide a relaxed atmosphere so that students feel at ease and can freely discuss any texts or issues that are under discussion. In light of the fact that every individual has a unique set of skills and weaknesses, my teaching style will be customized and student-focused. This will guarantee that the student can learn concepts more thoroughly and clearly, as well as boost their self-confidence and enable them to approach queries in a more upbeat way. Additionally, they will be able to fill knowledge gaps to such a significant extent that they will be able to learn new abilities as a result.
