I am an experienced English teacher with six years of teaching under my belt. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of helping students of all ages and skill levels build confidence in their reading, writing, and communication skills. Whether it’s mastering grammar, improving essay writing, or preparing for exams, I tailor my lessons to each student’s unique learning style and goals.
My approach is patient, engaging, and results-driven—I believe learning English should Removed both effective and enjoyable! I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and challenge themselves.
I have six years of experience as a secondary English teacher, during which I have taught a diverse range of students with varying abilities and learning styles. I have prepared students for GCSEs and A Levels as well as lead for KS3 in English in my current “Outstanding” school. In the classroom, I have developed and delivered engaging lessons focused on literature analysis, writing skills, grammar, and critical thinking. Beyond my teaching role, I have also provided one-on-one tutoring, helping students improve their reading comprehension, essay writing, and exam preparation. My experience in both classroom teaching and individualised tutoring has allowed me to adapt my teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student, fostering both confidence and academic success.
My approach is a mixture of patience, encouragement and warmth. I believe that learning should be engaging and exciting, but also play to the strengths of each pupil and be tailored specifically to their learning styles. I am
passionate about delivering results!
